Guest Agreement & Safety Rules

Please review our guest agreement and safety guidelines.

Mariden Resort Guest Agreement Form

This Agreement is entered into between Mariden Resort ("Resort") and the undersigned guest (the individual guest or an authorized representative signing on their behalf) ("Guest"). By signing this Agreement, the Guest agrees to abide by the terms and conditions set forth herein during their stay at Mariden Resort. This agreement applies to all members of the group the Guest represents, provided they are accounted for as checked-in guests.

1. Facility Usage

  • a. The guest has access to all facilities and amenities provided by Mariden Resort, including cottages and swimming pool.
  • b. The usage of facilities is subject to availability and Resort rules.
  • c. Guest rooms have a maximum occupancy set by the Resort. Additional occupants exceeding this limit for the standard rate may incur extra charges.

2. Safety Responsibilities

  • a. While using the swimming pool, guests are responsible for their own safety.
  • b. Lifeguards are on duty during specified hours. Outside of these hours, guests swim at their own risk.
  • c. The Resort advises guests to adhere to posted safety guidelines and rules.
  • d. Minors must be accompanied by the legal guardian, and they are responsible for the safety of the minors.

3. General Guidelines

  • a. Guests must conduct themselves in a respectful and orderly manner.
  • b. Any damage caused to Resort property by the Guest will be the financial responsibility of the Guest.
  • c. All children under 13 years old must be under the direct supervision of their parents or guardians at all times.

4. Lost or Stolen Items

  • a. The Resort is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

5. Non-consumable Items and Deposit

  • a. Guests are not allowed to take non-consumable items such as but not limited to towels, blankets, etc., from the Resort premises.
  • b. A security deposit of ₱1000.00 per room will be required upon check-in.
  • c. The security deposit will be refunded after the staff has cleared the room during the check-out process, provided there are no damages or missing items.

6. Noise and Disturbances

  • a. Guests are expected to maintain a noise level that does not disturb other guests.
  • b. Quiet hours are observed between 08:00 PM to 10:00 AM.

7. Check-in and Check-out

  • a. Check-in time is 2:00PM. Check-out time is 12:00 NOON.
  • b. Early check-ins and late check-outs are free and subject to availability.

8. Pets

  • a. Pets are not allowed in guest rooms or common areas. Service animals are an exception and must be declared upon reservation.

9. Smoking

  • a. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all Resort buildings. Designated smoking areas are provided.

10. Payment and Cancellation

  • a. Full payment is required upon check-in.
  • b. Cancellations must be made 7 days in advance to avoid charges.

11. Force Majeure

  • a. The Resort is not liable for failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement due to circumstances beyond its control.

12. Third-Party Services and Automation

  • a. Use of Third-Party Platforms: The Resort uses various third-party services, platforms, and automation tools to operate and manage resort services, including but not limited to booking systems (BookingKu, Booking.com, Agoda, Airbnb), payment processors, communication platforms (WhatsApp, Messenger, email services), analytics tools (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity), automation systems (n8n workflows), and internet services (Starlink).
  • b. Data Processing and Sharing: By making a reservation or using Resort services, Guest acknowledges and consents that their personal information, booking details, payment information, and other data may be collected, processed, stored, and transmitted by these third-party service providers in accordance with their respective privacy policies and terms of service.
  • c. Third-Party Terms and Policies: Guest acknowledges that use of third-party services is subject to the terms of service, privacy policies, and data processing agreements of those third-party providers. The Resort does not control and is not responsible for the policies, security practices, or operations of third-party platforms.
  • d. Automated Processing: Guest consents to automated processing of their data through automation tools and workflows for purposes including reservation management, communication, payment processing, and operational efficiency.
  • e. Limitation of Liability: The Resort is not liable for service interruptions, data breaches, security incidents, technical failures, or any issues arising from third-party platforms, payment processors, booking systems, automation tools, or internet service providers. Guest agrees to hold the Resort harmless from any claims, damages, or losses resulting from third-party service failures or data handling practices.
  • f. International Data Transfers: Guest acknowledges that third-party service providers may store or process data on servers located outside the Philippines, and Guest consents to such international data transfers.

13. Wi-Fi and Internet Services

  • a. Guest acknowledges that they have read and agree to the complete Wi-Fi and Internet Services terms outlined in Section 7.2 of the Resort's Terms & Conditions, which are incorporated by reference into this Agreement.
  • b. Guest specifically acknowledges and agrees that Wi-Fi service is provided "as-is" with no guarantees of availability, speed, or reliability, and that the Resort is not liable for any inability to connect, service interruptions, or any direct, indirect, or consequential damages including loss of business, income, or work productivity related to Wi-Fi usage or unavailability.
  • c. Guest agrees to comply with all Acceptable Use Policies and acknowledges that the Resort employs network security measures including content filtering, bandwidth management, and traffic monitoring.

Acknowledgement:

I, the undersigned, have read and understood the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement, including the Third-Party Services and Automation provisions (Section 12) and Wi-Fi and Internet Services terms (Section 13). I acknowledge that I have been informed of the Resort's use of third-party platforms and automation tools, and I consent to the processing and sharing of my personal data with these service providers. I agree to abide by all terms during my stay at Mariden Resort and understand that I am subject to the terms and policies of third-party service providers when using their services.

Mariden Resort Safety Guidelines and Rules

To ensure the safety and well-being of all guests at Mariden Resort, we kindly ask you to adhere to the following guidelines and rules:

1. Swimming Pool Safety

  • a. Guests are required to shower before entering the swimming pool.
  • b. Diving is strictly prohibited in all areas of the pool.
  • c. Running and rough play in the pool area are not allowed.

2. Lifeguard Hours

  • a. Lifeguards are on duty from [specified hours].
  • b. Outside of lifeguard hours, guests swim at their own risk.

3. Children's Pool

  • a. The children's pool is designated for guests aged 12 and under.
  • b. Parents or guardians must supervise their children at all times.

4. Emergency Procedures

  • a. Familiarize yourself with the location of emergency exits and evacuation routes.
  • b. In case of an emergency, follow the instructions provided by Resort staff.

5. First Aid

  • a. The Resort has a designated first aid station. Please report any injuries or emergencies to the nearest staff member.

6. Fire Safety

  • a. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all Resort buildings. Designated smoking areas are provided.
  • b. Do not tamper with or disable smoke detectors.

7. Noise Control

  • a. Guests are requested to keep noise levels to a minimum during quiet hours [specified hours].
  • b. Use headphones when listening to music or watching videos in public areas.

8. Security Deposit

  • a. A security deposit is required upon check-in to cover potential damages or missing items.
  • b. Guests are responsible for their belongings. Use the provided safety deposit boxes for valuable items.

9. Non-consumable Items

  • a. Taking non-consumable items such as towels, blankets, etc., from the Resort premises is strictly prohibited.

10. Respect for Others

  • a. Treat fellow guests and Resort staff with courtesy and respect.
  • b. Any form of harassment or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

11. Pets

  • a. Pets are not allowed in guest rooms or common areas, except for registered service animals.
  • b. Guests with service animals must inform the Resort upon reservation.

12. Compliance with Rules

  • a. Failure to comply with these safety guidelines and rules may result in eviction from the Resort without a refund.

Final Acknowledgement:

Upon entering and staying on the premises, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these safety guidelines and rules. Your cooperation ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests at Mariden Resort.
